Anti-Vortex Assemblies

Rhino Stainless Steel Anti-Vortex Assemblies are available in 4”, 6” & 8” standard sizes and are designed for easy attachment to Rhino tank fittings.  Meets standard/local fire department requirements for preventing a vortex from forming in your fire prevention water storage tank. Made from ultra corrosion resistant type 316 Stainless Steel, these anti-vortex assemblies will prevent your fire department from sucking air (due to a vortex forming in your tank) when drafting off of your tank’s fire department connection.  Also commonly used on high volume/high GPM irrigation pump suction connections on water storage tanks to prevent pump cavitation under high flow conditions.  Takes less than one minute to install on a Rhino tank fitting.  All assemblies include type 316 stainless steel anti-vortex plates, 90-degree PVC elbow, and either a Gruvlok quick coupler or NPT threaded end for attaching the complete assembly to a Rhino tank fitting.
